Learn to Letter (and Illustrate) with Ren!

Virtual Learning through Zoom

As we continue to practice social distancing, I am now offering an online learning experience with my Private Virtual Lessons with Ren! I’ve worked to create a customized learning plan so my students may still receive a personalized experience through the use of Zoom and email communication.

Interested in team building or group learning? I am experienced in running bite-sized versions of my workshops so that a whole crew can experience creative time together virtually!

What to Expect in a Workshop

I adore teaching!! It’s my first love, as I have a degree in Art Education, and I’ve been instructing children since I was a teenager (picture a 16-year-old teaching preschoolers on tiny skis — total madness). I am so grateful that I am able to marry my passions, lettering and teaching, by hosting workshops in Eastern Pennsylvania (and now, online)!

When attending a Ren & Ink workshop, you’ll have the experience of a real art class, but explained simply in terms you can understand. I hold no secrets back — you will learn all my tested and approved techniques to successfully illustrate or letter amazing work! Think of me as your art coach, your sensei, your Yoda. Your wins are my wins.

My main goal as your instructor is to have you walk away with newly learned skills and a new obsession! Can’t wait to have you in class.

Lauren is a talented artist but also has the ability to translate her love for her craft to teach it to others. I thoroughly enjoyed her Intro to Brush Lettering workshop and I'm looking forward to the next level!
